Since its establishment in April 26th 1993 with registered capital of RMB10 million, the company has experienced a few major changes: in 1997 the company changed its name to Foshan Securities Company Limited and increased the registered capital to RMB80 million; then in July 26th 2002 the company moved its registered address to Shenzhen, changed its name to First Capital Securities Company Limited and increased its registered capital to RMB747 million; and in August 28th 2008 increased its registered capital to RMB1.59 billion. Today the company employs 802 staff, 91% with relevant professional qualification and 258 have professional license to trade.
